In 1993, I became the C.E.O. of the Hendersonville Rescue Mission. At that time, I asked for an audit of our books, and from that point, each year, I have looked forward to reporting to our faithful partners in this ministry of the results of each audit. Every year, with no exceptions, the independent auditor, using generally accepted accounting principles, has determined that all information has been presented fairly. The Hendersonville Rescue Mission maintains strict financial controls established by management and our accounting firm.
